What personal data beyondwork.ai collects, why, who processes it, and the choices you have.

01 · Who we are

This website, beyondwork.ai (the "Site"), is operated by Beyond Work Inc. ("Beyond Work", "we", "us"). References to Beyond Work include our affiliates and other subsidiaries of Beyond Work Holdings, Inc. Our registered address is Beyond Work, 42 Rue Cambronne, 75015 Paris, France.

This policy explains what personal data we collect on the Site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers the Site, event registration, and the sign-in area. It does not cover the Beyond Work platform itself: data processed on the platform on behalf of a customer is governed by that customer's agreement with us, described in the Data processing addendum page.

02 · What we collect

Information you give us

When you send a contact request, apply for a hackathon, or register for an event, we collect what you enter in the form: typically your name, work email address, organization, role, and the content of your message or application. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and workspace domain from your Google account.

Information collected automatically

We measure how the Site is used with PostHog, hosted in the European Union: pages viewed, links and buttons used, approximate location derived from your network address, browser and device type, and performance and error signals. Our analytics configuration strips common identifying fields before events are stored, and profiles are only created for people who sign in.

03 · How we use it

We use personal data to respond to your enquiry, evaluate applications, organize and run the events you register for, operate and secure the Site, and understand which parts of the Site are used so we can improve it. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third-party advertising on the Site.

Legal bases

Where EU data protection law applies, we rely on: the steps needed before entering into a contract with you or your organization (enquiries, applications, event registration); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site; and your consent where the law requires it, which you can withdraw at any time.

04 · Who we share it with

We share personal data with service providers who process it for us: Railway (application and database hosting), PostHog (analytics, EU-hosted), Resend (transactional email), and Google (sign-in). Form submissions and event registrations are also processed in our internal operations systems so the right person at Beyond Work can act on them. We may share personal data within the Beyond Work corporate family, and we will disclose it where the law requires.

International transfers

Our providers operate in the European Union and the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

05 · Retention and security

We keep personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for — an enquiry for as long as we are handling it, an event registration for the lifecycle of the event, an account for as long as it is active — and we review stored submissions periodically. Access to stored personal data is restricted to people who need it, transport is encrypted, and sign-in sessions are stored hashed.

06 · Your rights

Where EU data protection law applies, you can ask us for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, and complain to your local supervisory authority. If you have an account, you can export your Site data and delete your account yourself from the account area. For everything else, write to privacy@beyondwork.ai — we answer from there.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update it here and revise the review date shown at the top of the page.
